Sales Tax Exemption
According to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, a sales tax exception certificate certifies that an individual, business or organization is eligible for tax exemption due to fulfilling certain criteria. Our council offers tax-free purchases for troops while meeting the required purchase criteria and while utilizing their council issued troop card in store or tax-exempt troop account on our website, nypennstore.org. We reserve the right to revoke tax-exempt status if an account is being misused, as defined in the terms and conditions found in the JotForm.
